2023 Greek Housing Conference Questions & Contact Information
Q. What is the conference date?
A. Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Q. Where is the conference located this year?
A. We are pleased to have Georgia Tech Center for Student Engagement and Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life serve as our conference sponsor. We will be in the brand new confernce center.
Q. Is the conference really free?
A. Yes! Thanks to our sponsors, the conference registration is free and includes a buffet breakfast and lunch as well as an afternoon snack and beverages throughout. All materials, including handouts, are included at no cost to you. Hotel, travel, and parking are not included. Past attendees have valued the conference worth at least $150!
Q. Will there be time to talk to other attendees and presenters?
A. Yes! There are several opportunities to engage with other attendees including breakfast and lunch. Presenters always make themselves available after their sessions, and there is a Q & A panel discussion at the end which is another opportunity to have side discussions with attendees or presenters.
Q. How many of my board members should attend?
A. We recomend as many as would like to come. For seasoned advisors, there are four separate tracks that have concurrent breakout sessions. To ensure that you get the most out of the conference, we encourage you to send enough members so you have an attendee in all the sessions. The more the better so you can compare notes after every session.
Q. Is this a sales pitch?
A. No. While all of the presenters, vendors, and sponsors would like to earn your business, this conference is designed to provide you with the tools and information to be able to do it on your own if you so choose.
Q. What time will it end?
A. Due to time constraints, the conference should be concluded by 3:30 p.m. Attendees are welcome to leave at their convenience throughout the day or stay as long as they wish to discuss items with other attendees and/or presenters.
Q. Are there overnight accomodations?
A. Yes! We have secured a group rate at the Hampton Inn Atlanta - Georgia Tech SOLD OUT!! New group rate at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Midtown $179 plus tax.
